Responsibilities: Head of the business unit & profit centre providing P&C reinsurance (mainly Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, Motor, General Accident) to insurance companies from this region

Main achievements:

  • New strategy, client management, organization and set up for the region (opening of the Nairobi rep)
  • Rejuvenated and strengthened team (almost a new one !)
  • Plan execution, premium income development at an improved technical performance
  • Successful progressive role enlargement (2014 Anglophone Africa with the Johannesburg affiliate and 2015 with the rest of Middle East i.e. UAE, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait written out of Cologne)

Head of P&C Strategy and Development, SCOR

Responsibilities: Strategic planning, monitoring and reporting of business activity, operational marketing, P&C communication, relations with rating agencies, general secretary of the P&C executive committee

Main achievements:

  • Set up of this new transverse function of the Global P&C worldwide division
  • Elaboration of the SCOR’s Dynamic Lift strategic plan
  • Introduction of renewals performance analysis and KPI’s, planning process, clients’ survey
  • Successful rating agencies annual reviews and new marketing policy including the new website

Head of Industrial Risks, Business Solutions Division, SCOR

Responsibilities: CUO for industrial risks business unit & profit centre (Property, Liability and Engineering) within the worldwide integrated division dedicated to large corporate risks

Main achievements:

  • Formation and management of the team through internal and external hiring further to the new set up
  • Design of the underwriting policy and the marketing
  • Development of a sizeable and highly profitable business unit

Account Manager, Large Corporate Division, AGF France (Allianz Group, 1998)

Responsibilities: Client relationships management and Property & Specialties underwriting of large industrial risks, AGF representative at the Property Committee of the French Insurance Confederation (2000 – 2001), Energy Manager (2000 – 2001), Relationship Manager for Bessé and Verlingue brokers, Representative of AGF France in the Allianz International Property Committee

Main achievements:

  • Key contribution to the company corporate business (new clients, brokers or partnerships)
  • Design & marketing of new products (multiline multiyear, product tampering, fidelity, brand protection)

Property Underwriter and Loss Control Engineer, AGF Italy

  • Development of a brand-new portfolio of medium-sized corporate clients since the office opening
  • Relationships manager for the Italian operations of the AGF Group’s clients
